Great prices. Good food, good servings
I don't think so. My friend and I met for breakfast, the place was busy and served to order
Yes
Parking takes a while since Burlingame downtown is pretty busy most days. There's a few parking lots/structures close by so you do end up finding parking eventually.
Yes, but walking in is usually fine, they move people through pretty quickly.
Big long lot by RxR tracks.
The banana macadamia nut pancakes are incredible! Great food, great service. Highly recommend.
Favorite place to go to for breakfast in Burlingame. Currently open for indoor dining if you wear a mask to enter as well as get your temperature checked. Outdoor dining available as well
Food was just amazing. I got the French Toast while my girlfriend got the waffle and it was just mouth-watering. Service was great. The service was fast, consistent, and very kind. I would definitely recommend this brunch spot to anyone looking for a delicious bite to eat!
The bad: Large portions and pricey. The hot chocolate was watered down. 😔 The good: Chicken waffles was tasty and came with normal syrup ($1.69 if you want maple syrup) and heavily breaded fried chicken breast. The crab cheese omelet was THE Bomb!! Super delicious and stuffed with crab 🦀
Amazing food and service, everything we had was excellent.
We met some friends there for brunch this morning. The food was good. The portion sizes are extremely generous, and the service is fast. The dining room is a bit loud, and they are definitely very busy around breakfast time. Parking closet to the restaurant isn't bad in Sunday's. There's a free loft right across the street from the restaurant.
Love the mushroom caps and frittata as well as their chili
Yummie out door eating ! Nice neighborhood
Awesome Crab Omelette but so are the pancakes. All the portions are generous and service is usually great. They also give you a pot of coffee. Currently there is construction going on out front but noise is very minimal. Parking not a problem. Normally during the week we get seated right away. And on the weekends it starts to gets busy by 9am.
Very nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food. Lots of choices!
For the life of me ,I have no reason why I even gave it one star! While the server was taking my order ,he paused and said "one second I need to attend to another table ." Had to go inside and ask someone for a refill on my drink. While waiting for my to go order you can hear the owner talking about free flight benefits in his divorce. TMI !!!! Service not so good! Unless you want to hear about people's personal life and poor service go somewhere else.
We had the pancakes and honest to God they were the best dang pancakes I've ever paid for. Super fluffy, light but thick pancakes. The location is great and easy to get to. It has a small town diner feel. Great for anyone just flying in on their flight. The proportions are huge! Would 10/10 recommend
Wonderful environment, nice outdoor seating, nice location. The food was so good, fresh, hot! The server Pablo was the best. He was on top of everything and food came just as it was ordered. Clean. Nice vibe. I'd absolutely visit again! Note: Ask about items that may not be listed on menu
Wish the fruits were fresh instead of frozen...Otherwise the pancakes are good :)
Stacks serve very classic American comfort Food. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. There is usually a line outside the restaurant, especially on weekends. There are a good variety of choices on the menu, their waffles are really good. I would say the food is not bad, but nothing really special about it. There are many other brunches options. The decorations of the restaurant is very classy as well. Prices is not cheap as you may have guessed.
Worth the wait. Wife and I sat outside. So nice. Food was great. Servers are quick and busy, but friendly. You should go .
Really good food with customizable options. The side dish of Potatoes are some of the best. Coffee is fresh and not acidic.
Good quality! The staff was a little antsy with it being so busy but I don't blame them. The potatoes are killer! Ok portions for your money. If you want great food for brunch, this is your place!
The food was delicious. They use a lot of butter and you can tell but it’s still very tasty. I had the garden crepe with egg whites, which felt very healthy (minus the butter) and made me want to come back and order it. We ordered takeout only, but it looked like a nice and safe place to eat outdoors. There was only a small handful of people eating indoors.
Stacks has always been a fantastic place to eat for over 15 years. If your alone with family or in a group Stacks is a great place to. They have all breakfast options o e could want along with a lunch menu that is delicious as well. If you are visiting on the weekend be prepared for a wait this place is very popular and the Avg wait is 20 to 35 min and the wait could be longer depending if you go on a busy weekend. Enjoy!
Nice location, nice staff but the food generally is just OK. There are much better options for breakfast style food in Burlingame.
Be ready to wait cause there's always a line. The free coffee and tea by the door while you're waiting is nice. The eggs were poached well. The carnitas was dry.
I have always heard great things about Stacks' and so we decided to go for lunch. The restaurant had wonderful decor and very friendly staff. The food was great and I really enjoyed the all meat omelette I ordered. Definitely come back soon.
Outside patio was beautiful however, the food was just bland, their smoothie however was fresh and tasty. Overall nothing really special about it and wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. The service was great and the staff was very attentive
The breakfast portions are large and mighty delicious, the decor fun and the staff very friendly.Couldn't ask for anything more.
Dined in, with restrictions...must have mask on and temperature check at the front. Distances from other tables are 6ft away. DINNING was awful. They sat us close to the bathroom with a baby and 1 toddler. We could smell the urine and ammonia. The food was OK. Way Below expectations and EXPENSIVE. I ordered the salmon scramble. It came with the hash potatoes and a bagel. Cream cheese for the bagel is EXTRA COST. Which sucks!! Not enough options for my VEGETARIAN Hubby and children's menu, not many as well. There isn't much Originality for pancakes as I thought it is a Stacks "pancake" place.
I liked this cafe. I ordered a takeout but got to hang out there while waiting for my food. Very nice atmosphere. And there is an outdoor area where dining is permitted.Food was great. I got mushroom crepes and loved them. Will definitely be back.
Great breakfast spot. Busy but still great service.
Great food, even better service...really enjoyed the steak and eggs!
The place was packed and we still got a table in under 5 min!Our server was amazing! And the food was awesome!Get the banana macadamian coconut pancake!😛
What a great weekend brunch & lunch spot!
Came here for breakfast and the owner was very nice assisting employees, customer service was great, and breakfast was filing.6 star service
Spanish omelet was great, with well-seasoned chorizo. Good coffee too.
This place is expensive, but WORTH it. take a girl on a date here, she will be a very happy girl. i loved the wine and i loved the cheese plate.
For a weekday breakfast the place was a huge disappointment. Simple order of scrambled eggs, bacon and sourdough toast. Everything was bad. Hash browns were left over from yesterday and were luke warm at best. Eggs were cold. Bacon was blackened, without the cajun spices and cold, also. Toast was burnt on both sides and not buttered. How hard is it to serve a fresh, hot breakfast?
A great breakfast, brunch and lunch place! We usually go in for their omelettes and Belgian waffles but I tried their chicken sandwich with stix fries one day for brunch and it was so very good! Alot of sandwich for the price so I had enough for two meals!
The service was superb! Coffee nice and hot. Fresh strawberries were lovely. Now for the 4 star review. My omelette was not as fluffy as I am use to eating. And- I have never had an omelette where the condiments are not mixed in the egg mixture. The Chile's were lined on the bottom of the plate and the onions were sprinkled on the top. Hmm. Interesting. I little disappointed they were not fresh jalapenos. The chile's had a taste of canned goods. The prices are a bit on the medium to high end, but as I stated, the service was great. Wonderful bagels! Will I go again- um, okay, yes I will. I will however, not order an omelette. I really love a fluffy omelette, not a flat one. The place has great ambiance. Nice acoustics, so conversation setting is good. I live in Texas, but I will be back. You will love the food.
Your old fashion pancake house. Portions are big enough to feed 2 people. Food is good and reasonably priced for what you get. Service is great and wait staff great as well.
Geoffrey has had a very successful & lovely restaurant. I've been there in the past thru the years & again in the last 3 months for outdoor seating. Always very happy & satisfied!!! Beautiful surrounding & great service!!!
Absolutely excellent breakfast/brunch. Fast service and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Clean good atmosphere for breakfast.
American comfort food for breakfast and lunch, with a Hispanic take on some menu items. Servings are plentiful.
My mom and my son favorite place for having breakfast!!! Family cozy place.
Spectacular club sandwich, super generous portions, and quick friendly service. Didn't have the chance to try their pancakes, but folks at the table next to me were raving about them.
Very quick service and affordable
Beautiful atmosphere, good food and great hospitality!!! My husband and I were in The California area for our Anniversary and stopped by this restaurant after Googling. This is great choice. We had breakfast.
Great location, so so food and service. We waited more than 15 mins to be noticed and seated, in a mostly empty restaurant at lunch time. Salad was ok, but not worth $16. We asked for soda water and we were given Sprite. It took more than 10mins we finally got the waitress attention and we're given the correct drinks after another 10 mins. $60+ for the salad, tuna melt, fries and drinks. Most likely not return.
This is a wonderful breakfast restaurant. There was street & road construction in the area and was a bit tricky to maneuver. We were surprised no waiting was needed as it was after their breakfast rush.Huge portions, very tasty.Kids friendly.
Went on a Sunday for brunch and there was wait: about 20-25 min wait for party of 2. Food was ok; nothing special — I had skillet with sausage and mushrooms and I’ve definitely had better and more flavorful skillets. However, the decorations during Xmas time are the cutest ... it really has a good holiday vibe (so raining is higher due to this 🙈). 🎄
Always good pancakes and always good service.I decided I was in the mood for avocado toast, but it wasn't on the menu, so the server said he could bring me avocado and toast, so I could assemble it myself, which is fine but odd and also odd that each component was $4.Good enough, I guess.
